Senior Business Analyst
The Senior Business Analyst facilitates constant releases of small and large projects, live site management, and influence on software development at Lighthouse. The position works very closely with various teams to indentify opportunities to increase customer satisfaction, revenue, and efficiency across every stage of eDiscovery. Partners with different teams to convert concepts/ideas into specific scenarios and user stories, the Sr. Business Analyst helps solve bigger cross-team architectural questions regarding new technologies and products to improve the eDiscovery process.

What You Will Do:

  • Build deep relationships with stakeholders inside and outside of the organization to understand their business goals
  • Write functional specification that includes user stories, desired customer experience, while looking for alternate paths to foster collaboration with the business and engineers to produce creative solutions
  • Decompose high-level information into granular details for general understanding
  • Collaborate with the business, marketing, and sales teams to identify opportunities to improve existing products or create new ones
  • Interpret data from many different sources to drive the design of features. Analyze documents, business process, tasks and workflows to understand customers' requirements
  • Take ownership of the product backlog from requirements to prioritization

What You Will Need:

  • 10+ years experience as Business analyst, Functional Analyst, Program Manager, Research Project Manager, or related role in a high-demand environment involving complex planning and coordination, with exposure to scientific or engineering environments
  • Bachelor Degree is Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
  • Expertise and passion working with customers to understand their scenarios and business drivers
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; must be able to distill critical data and help to identify required actions based on indicative results
  • Ability to develop product plans, roadmap, and drive project execution
  • Excellent technical and functional design skills
  • Experience with Agile or Scrum based teams
  • Affinity for both big picture and low level details
  • Evident leadership and drive for results
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Conflict management, negotiation and resolution skills
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountaility
