BIA Senior Business Analyst to join one of our high performing teams responsible for building and supporting enterprise open systems platform of the Social Security Administration (SSA) and their mission to meet the changing needs of the public, positively impacting at least 65 million American lives per month. The Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity Business Analyst will be responsible for understanding and developing the requirements and processes related to Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity needs of the stakeholders and how the ServiceNow BCM and IRM modules will support their needs. This analyst role will partner with development and IT partners to build, document and test ServiceNow implementation.

The Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity Business Analyst will be responsible for understanding and developing the requirements and processes related to Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity needs of the stakeholders and how the ServiceNow BCM and IRM modules will support their needs. This analyst role will partner with development and IT partners to build, document and test ServiceNow implementation. Tasks include:
• Work with the project team and business stakeholders/technical leads to define, analyze, and document requirements for new ServiceNow processes or improvements to current processes.
• Work with the ServiceNow development team to validate the solutions for defined requirements.
• Provide assistance to other Business Analysts on the project team.
• Develop procedures, manuals, and other documentation as needed.
• Develop User Stories based on business requirements provided by the stakeholders/technical leads.
• Document current and future processes and workflows.
• Manage the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validation activities.
• Provide assistance to the Project Management Team.
FOUNDATION FOR SUCCESS (Basic Qualifications)This experience is the foundation a candidate needs to be successful in this position:
- BS degree and 10+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6+ years of prior relevant experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.
- 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the areas of Disaster Recovery / Business Continuity
- 5 years of experience in designing and building business processes
- 3 years of experience with process flow documentation creation
- Understanding of Agile software development practices
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including presentation skills

- Experience with using ServiceNow Business Continuity Management (BCM) and/or ServiceNow Integrated Risk Management (IRM) modules.
- ServiceNow Certification.
