Data Systems Analysts, Inc. is searching for a Senior Business Analyst at Fairfax, VA
DSA is looking for an analytic, results-driven and self-motivated and well-organized professional to join our dynamic team as a Senior Business Analyst. The Senior Business Analyst will work with various federal government clients to understand their business and IT strategy, and translate those into detailed requirements (functional, security, reporting, etc.), wireframes, process flows, business rules, and use cases. This role will work with members of the federal government, the technical team and leads, as well as program and project managers communicating and mapping business processes and functions into technical requirements.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
Leading requirement discussions to document, analyze, and translate functional business requirements into business specifications, use cases, wireframes, business process diagrams, and workflows
Work with business owner and other stakeholders to develop and document change request and user stories using JIRA
Create or update project deliverables and project management artifacts in accordance to project requirements and quality standards
Assist with documenting project risk, issues, and lessons learned
Assist in creation and execution of the Quality Control Plan and other documentation as required
Creating detailed business and systems documentation
Acting as a facilitator between business and technical teams
Creating Use Cases and documenting complex Business Rules
Facilitate JAD sessions, user workshops, and requirements interviews
Leading brainstorming sessions
Conducting Gap and Root Cause Analysis

7-10 years of experience documenting business and technical requirements
Strong understanding of victims' rights and victim notification requirements
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Experience in using quality control processes to ensure that products, deliverables, and data are standardized and accurate.
Experience creating technical reports, user manuals, user guides, training guides, and presentations
Experience working with SDLC and Agile (Scrum, Kanban) methodologies
Proficient in documenting database and reporting requirements
Strong technical writing skills
Experience in conducting internal/external quality audits is a plus
Minimum education: Bachelor's Degree
Agile Scrum Master or PMP certification
