  • Maintain and track the current state of the REAP
  • Lead the production of application lifecycle assessments giving a complete and holistic view of how Brookfield uses a given application and the quantifiable business value it provides
  • Stay up to date on the market in order to assess potential version upgrades, product roadmaps, competitive products and new & innovative applications that could bring value to our team and business
  • Tackle complex, high profile projects delivering work with a high degree of quality
  • Lead and direct team in developing, maintaining and adhering to: policies, procedures, security practices, project schedules & deadlines, and general IT best practices
  • Consult with stakeholders to define requirements and gain thorough understanding of business process and application architecture
  • Lead business analyst activities on projects & initiatives including executing project plans, test scripts, cutover plans, directing team members on priorities, identifying & escalating risks as appropriate, etc.
  • Create detailed documentation (business requirements, functional requirements, configuration specifications, test scripts, etc.) by liaising between project management, delivery teams, and business colleagues
  • Deliver informative, well-organized presentations and understand how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully
  • Understand vendor contracts including scope of application/service, cost of application/service and license structure in order to deliver thoughtful analysis and recommendations.


  • Experience and advanced knowledge of the commercial real estate business cycle and supporting applications
  • Experience with IT Application functions – Lifecycle management, software development, implementation and support/maintenance services, scope management, timeline, budget, risk management
  • Possess understanding of internet, intranet, and client/server architectures as well as understanding of how legacy and web-based systems interface with each other
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in a meaningful way to a variety of audiences
  • Display strong technical writing skills for producing presentations and documentation
  • Thorough understanding of an enterprise decision-making process
  • Ability to work across multiple business domains showing understanding of their unique needs
  • Experience working with external parties such as contractors and software vendors including contract reviews and evaluations
  • Strong analytical and trouble shooting skills, with the ability to adapt and translate technical concepts in terms of business impact
  • Ability to take ownership of initiatives and see them through to resolution
  • Drive to constantly make improvements and proactively seek opportunities for optimization
  • Ability to foster effective working relationships and build consensus across disparate stakeholders


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Business Systems Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems or a related field and/or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Minimum 7 years  of experience in Business Analysis roles in a large corporate setting
  • Experience with the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge
  • Experience in ITIL aligned incident, problem, change and release management
  • Exposure to project management and experience working with project management teams
  • Prior experience in the real-estate industry is required


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant experience including IT certifications


  • Experience with Yardi Voyager, VTS, MuleSoft, Hyperion, and Argus Enterprise is a strong asset
  • Report writing (SQL or other)
