Job Description

Work closely with the Commissioning Director and regional commissioning leadership in the successful growth of the Burns & McDonnell enclosure commissioning practice.
Lead, develop, recruit and retain high performance team of enclosure commissioning specialists.
Facilitate pursuit strategy, capture plan development, go/no-go decisions in order to pre-sell projects before RFP release.
Perform commissioning according to ASTM 2813 and NIBS guideline 3.
Develop and refine enclosure commissioning and consulting methodologies, tools, and standards in support of an evolving commissioning practice.
Collaborate with the National Director, other Commissioning Managers, marketing staff and other Global Practices to identify and analyze business development opportunities that are strategically aligned with the Company’s objectives.
Identify target clients for Burns & McDonnell and cultivate effective relationships with existing and potential key clients, customers and contractors to develop business.
Write articles and/or make conference presentations for marketing purposes.
Cultivate effective relationships with existing and potential key clients, customers and contractors to develop business.
Create enclosure diagnostic models in WUFI, WINDOW, and THERM
Perform onsite inspections of job sites worldwide.

Qualifications

BS or BA in Architectural Engineering, Building Construction Science or BS or BA in Architecture from an NAAB accredited university is required.
Registered Architect (RA) License will be preferred.
A minimum of 8 years of direct or related experience with building construction sciences, enclosure systems, architectural design, enclosure testing, enclosure commissioning and retro-commissioning.
Has an IIBEC certification or has the experience to obtain one in the first year of employment.
Actively participate in sales pursuits and proposal development.
Has recruited, retained, mentored, and provided feedback to direct reports.
Has knowledge of computer simulations such as WUFI, WINDOW, and THERM
Experience with new construction commissioning and/or commissioning of new retro-fits.
Highly effective communicator with clear and concise writing and presentation skills.
