ROLE of the POSITION
The Senior Analyst, Budget will be responsible for the tracking and reporting of School of Medicine budgets, and fund managements. These funds would include both state funded and self-supporting accounts. This position is responsible for communication of current financial positions, ensuring internal processes and controls are followed and effective, efficient use of funds are planned for by the departments. This position will help departments with the implications of financial decisions and the effect they have on their operations.
This position requires a Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university in Accounting and/or Finance and 5 years related Professional experience.
Other: Experience in a higher education academic setting, Applicant must be proficient in Microsoft office, specifically Microsoft Excel
Preferred: Master's degree
Salary competitive with those at similarly situated institutions. Position is contingent upon funding.
