If you love a challenge, and trulywant to make a difference in the world, read on!  AsBrand Marketing Manager, you will play a critical role in bringing Udacity’s brand strategy to life. You willreport to the Sr. Director of Brand andsupport the team’s efforts to build a deep consumer understanding, develop our brand platform, champion the brand across the company, and build and execute fresh content andcampaigns that authentically tell our brand story and effectively drive business growth. You will develop and execute integrated marketing programs that increase awareness, relevance, and favorability of the Udacity brand as well as our individual schools/nanodegrees. You will manage key customer insights initiatives. You willwork closely with the product teams, growth team, and the rest of the marketing team to drive key brand metrics andsupportrevenue growth.

The Role:

  • Help define positioning and messaging for the brand overall and individual campaigns.
  • Manage the Integrated Marketing Calendar, driving campaign development and coordinating across marketing channel teams to execute flawlessly
  • Champion the brand across the organization to ensure consistent application of brand platforms, messaging and guidelines.
  • Lead consumer insights initiatives including segmentation studies, voice-of-customer programs, value proposition/concept exploration, and ad-hoc research programs to gather, synthesize and leverage key learnings.
  • Lead brand health monitoring and reporting.
  • Work with Enterprise team to understand the needs of our enterprise partners, ensure the brand strategy reflects those insights and support brand plans dedicated to the Enterprise sector.
  • Work with the Director of Growth Data Engineering and Analytics to define, monitor and report on key performance metrics for brand marketing programs.

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years relevant experience in brand marketing/product marketing required with market research experiencepreferred.
  • Strong organizational skills. Results-oriented with a strong track record showing initiative and “can-do” attitude
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment  
  • Effective collaboration and communication skills with the ability to influence others and lead cross-functional efforts.
