This PO Senior Benefits & HRIS Analyst will be responsible for:
Benefits:
Administer benefit plans in compliance with plan documents and contracts; reconcile benefits vendor invoices; enter & reconcile data changes from the modules to ensure data consistency; run queries for deductions and provide information to management for funding; transmit data to benefit providers and trustees
Manage day-to-day activities of external benefit administrators and vendors. Review for accuracy & approves internal monthly dept invoices
Assist in annual benefits plan review by monitoring claims and administrative experience. Analyze costs and survey results
Prepare documents and maintains records necessary for implementing and/or terminating coverage
Coordinate the annual enrollment process including planning, preparation, and communications.
Prepare reports for management and/or for regulatory compliance purposes, maintain files and records according to requirements
Act as a lead and mentor to the Benefits Specialist in matters related to employee benefits inquiries and problem resolution
Identify and recommend opportunities to improve quality and timing of services to PO employees and participants, including utilization of vendor products and services and or technology enhancements
HRIS:
Review and approve employee transactions and change actions submitted by departments, via the automated HRMS system.
Support Employment staff in the entry of new-hire/rehire employee data and associated personnel data into the HRMS system. Ensure the integrity of employee data from a position management, comp and benefits perspective
Ensure high level of customer satisfaction by providing timely and accurate information when responding to user inquiries. Respond to frequent email, phone inquiries and requests from supervisors/managers regarding employee information and changes
Define and clarify the internal processes of the automated HRMS system for PO Management staff. Provide advice as to the appropriate employee transactions to use in order to achieve desired goal while maintaining data integrity and honoring HR policies
Serve as liaison with partners to communicate detailed functional information about enhancements to the automated HRMS systems. Test enhancements programmed as needed
Assist PO HR with system benefit questions, processes, and audits
Augment the design HRMS systems through proposing enhancements and evaluating users’ requests. Identify programming problems related to system
Interact with payroll on a regular basis to resolve issues regarding accuracy of employee data as it relates to pay issue
To qualify, you must have:
A Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration in business admin, hr, finance or a closely related field
A strong knowledge of all federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirement, including ACA, ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, Sect 125, and DOL requirements
5 yrs exp with strong knowledge of plan design, automation, admin, and compliance for retirement, health and welfare programs required and 4 yrs of ADP Workforce Now experience preferred
