Our client, a fast–paced and innovative hosted collaboration solution provider, has an opportunity for an experienced professional to join a growing voice team focused on delivering unique solutions and exceptional customer service.


Primary Responsibilities Include:


·        Manage and maintain the Avaya Aura unified communications, Equinox conferencing, and session border controller deployments, including day-to-day operations, customer deployments, upgrades and security management

·        Manage and maintain the datacenter infrastructuresupporting the Avaya Aura unified communications portfolio, including networking, virtualization, storage and security components

·        Perform technical discovery calls to gather requirements for customer telephony environments

·        Develop and implement configurations based on customer telephony environment requirements. This includes configuration of Avaya Aura system manager, session manager,  communications manager, Esna voicemail, media servers, IM & Presence (AMM and Breeze)

·        Lead active deployment of Avaya Aura unified communication systems

·        Develop dial plans for large multi-site customer environments

·        Develop emergency dialing, voice and video QoS configuration for multi-site deployments

·        Design, implement and provision MPLS networks for voice and video traffic

·        Implement Elite contact center

·        Configure voice gateways G450s

·        Monitor the trunks, changes in the ARS table, route patterns, VDN, Vector

·        Perform preventive maintenance, installation, and administration activities on G450/350/430 gateways, G650 PN, EGW and CM Server 6.x and 7.x

·        Manage voice infrastructure and voice management components

·        Provide level 3 support for network and voice-related customer issues, including escalations from NOC

·        Develop documentation and training for NOC to provide level 2 voice support

·        Develop and deliver end user administrator training



·        Bachelor’s degree in telecommunications, computer science or related field, or 3+ years of industry experience (or a combination of education and experience)

·        3+ years of experience in the following areas:

  • Leading voice projects and teams related to Avaya Aura unified communications deployments
  • Avaya Aura System Manager, Session Manager, and Communications Manager 6.x, 7.x
  • Avaya Multi-Media Messaging (AMM) for IM and/or Breeze for Presence
  • Avaya voice gateways
  • System Platform, LSP/ESS concepts and networking
  • Voice protocols such MGCP, H323, SIP, SIP trunking
  • Complex dial plans
  • Call handler, auto-attendants and attendant console
  • Bulk configuration tools for adding and updating configuration

  • QoS
  • Contact center
  • Esna voicemail
  • Avaya Aura certifications

$143K - $165K
$130K - $150K base, Equity bonus
