Job Description

Role Overview

Ankura’s Revenue Team has been created to increase the pipeline of opportunities for Ankura across the entire business. This includes cross-selling support and the identification of new opportunities to ultimately have a more collaborative approach and better understanding of our capabilities around the globe. This will allow for differentiated business development where, with minimal and coordinated processes, we can accelerate increased revenue opportunities from existing and new clients. This high visibility role is based in New York, NY and is expected to be hybrid, splitting time between our New York office and working remotely.

Responsibilities

· Collaborate with business group leaders to develop comprehensive strategies that align with overall organizational objectives. Identify key areas for development and propose innovative solutions to drive growth, efficiency, and consistency across business groups.

· Leverage internal tools and technologies to drive consistency in processes and strategy to increase Ankura revenue.

· Function as a liaison between different business groups to foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, and synergy. Facilitate regular meetings and training sessions to promote cross-functional understanding and to ensure consistency in processes, methodologies, and standards.

· Research and analyze current and prospective client financials to identify growth opportunities.

· Analyze Ankura internal business group financials to identify areas for improvement and insights.

· Gather and analyze historical data on Ankura business development successes and opportunities for improvement.

· Organize Ankura service offerings and inventory of capabilities.

· Develop and implement performance metrics and tracking systems to monitor the effectiveness of business development initiatives. Analyze data to measure the impact of implemented strategies.

· Support business development and go to market strategy and execution.

Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree from a top academic institution with a strong GPA in finance, accounting or related field required.

· 3+ years of financial related experience (investment banking, restructuring, Office of the CFO, equity analyst from a bank, leveraged finance, public accounting, etc.) and the ability to understand and analyze financial statements.

· Experience with Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Factiva

· Experience with Salesforce preferred.

· Strong excel skills.

· Entrepreneurial mindset

· Ability to work independently.

· Comfortable working longer hours as needed per business needs.

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, Colorado, or New York, Ankura is required to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the said markets and considers a broad range of factors including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. The range does not include additional benefits outside of salary. At Ankura, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each role. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range is between $65,000 to $125,000; this range is not a promise of a particular wage.
