This Insights & Analytics Senior Associate is a key member of the Biscuit Consumer Insights team, serving as the insights co-pilot to the Senior Manager responsible for supporting Chips Ahoy!, Belvita, and Jewel brands to drive the learning agenda and shape the strategy for Mondelez’s #2 cookie and #1 breakfast biscuit.

** Role would be a hybrid setting working out of the East Hanover, New Jersey office

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify business opportunities and risks for your key brands, and ensure decisions are made against a background of fundamental category/consumer/ shopper/ customer knowledge and insight.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally, working closely with marketing partners and other cross-functional teams to ensure strategies and plans are based on sound consumer/market understanding.
  • Support in driving the learning agenda and shaping strategies for Chips Ahoy!, BelVita, and Jewel cookies.
  • Partner with the Cookies Insights team on key category-level deliverables across the Cookies portfolio (i.e., Equity Tracking, Market Structures, Demand Spaces.)
  • Anticipate business and insights needs and continuously develop research plans to address learning needs, such as product and concept testing, packaging evaluation, ad testing, campaign testing, data insights mining with syndicated tools, and exploratory research.
  • Leverage ‘scrappy’ but effective tools to provide the consumer voice in more quick-turnaround initiatives that require more of a ‘gut’ check when speed is needed.
  • Develop relationships with agencies to perfect the research tools in place and/or create new ones to bring more foresight to the organization.
  • Elevated storytelling skills: integrate data from multiple sources (primary, secondary, & syndicated) to drive foresight & strategy to deliver impactful/implementable insights to Marketing, Advertising, and Media agencies.
  • Partner with Advance Analytics to deliver data-driven marketing maturity by building a 360-campaign effectiveness measurement roadmap.


Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in brand-building insights ideally CPG industry and/or consulting.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Strategic thinking across brand positioning, communications, and white space/innovation.
  • Ability to manage traditional and innovative research approaches with minimal oversight.
  • Effective storytelling skills and business acumen to simplify large and complex data into compelling insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Strong data analysis and digital savviness skills (Nielsen, etc.)
