  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of client brand guidelines and ability to establish and develop on-brand design solutions across all mediums.
  • Demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate and articulate rationale behind creative concepts to other team members and clients.
  • Generate strong, strategy-based layouts/designs and champions ideas with genuine enthusiasm.
  • Partner with Copywriter to deliver concepts and final executions that deliver powerful messages on strategy and on brand.
  • Continuously search for new ideas and innovations to share with the team.
  • Present work with confidence, passion, and crystal clarity.
  • Manage time efficiently and juggle projects so none ever touch the floor.
  • Knows the brand, lives the brand, loves the brand.
  • Motivate and inspire team members both through guidance and by example.
  • Direct, supervise, and mentor other art directors.
  • Able to design in a variety of styles.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related field
  • 5+ years of art direction and design at a creative agency
  • Experience working in an integrated marketing setting or agency strongly preferred
  • Experience with QSR, Food, and/or Retail Marketing strongly preferred
  • Expertise in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign. Plus, InVision, Sketch and the new set of rapid prototyping software on the market
  • Exceptional communication and problem solving skills
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Finely developed sense of humor
  • Portfolio of brilliant or near-brilliant, relatable work.
