GIII Apparel Group, the world's premier designer and manufacturer of quality leather outerwear, dresses, women's suits, sportswear and accessories, is currently seeking a Senior Art Director to join its team within the Donna Karan New York and Karl Lagerfeld Paris divisions based in New York City.

 

The Senior Art Director will partner with Senior Vice President of Marketing to lead the Art Direction and Brand Image across both divisions.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for directing and overseeing creative teams in the development of digital brand marketing and visual imagery for the company’s apparel lines across all media platforms
  • Lead the planning, creation and execution of digital, visual and advertising campaigns in collaboration with the company’s internal creative staff of digital marketing, graphic arts, E-commerce and visual merchandising professionals
  • Conceptualize and develop design strategies
  • Oversee the implementation of stylistic requirements including copy, layout, illustrations and final art and photography for the company’s advertising and social mediacampaigns
  • Manage licensed brand collaborations

Qualifications

  • 4 year BA/BS college degree in Marketing or related field.
  • Excellent communication skills, especially writing.
  • Must be organized, creative, Tech-Savvy and have excellent attention to detail.
  • Must be able to think strategically and carry out all duties related to execution.
  • 10+ years previous fashion/ marketing experience.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Proficient understanding of social media and online media platforms (specifically Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram).
