Citizens Financial Group, Inc. (CFG) seeks a Senior Application Developer for its Cranston, RI location.
Duties: Develop, implement, maintain, and support web applications for cash management banking operations. Analyze current systems and map business requirements, and translate requirements into technical specifications to design IT solutions and business systems that meet business needs. Determine hardware and software requirements, and develop applications that meet both technical and functional requirements. Develop, code, and test complex software applications, applying current programming language and technologies to write codes, complete programming, and perform testing and modification of these applications. Procure and implement additions to application portfolio, and oversee implementation of new applications, developing enhancements and modifications as necessary to ensure applications function as intended and are aligned with business requirements and strategy. Maintain program libraries and technical documentation of the individual applications to adhere to the established lifecycle methodology and practices in accordance to project plans.
Requirements: Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, and five (5) years of progressive, post-bachelor’s experience in the position offered or related position. Full term of experience must involve developing and maintaining Web Applications using .NET Framework, XML Web Services, ADO.NET, C#/VB/ASP.NET, JSON, LINQ, AJAX, and Crystal Reports 8.5/9/10/11 with SQL Server 2008/2005/2000; mapping business requirements and analysis, design, re-engineering, rationalization, integration, implementation, cost control, capacity planning, performance measurement, documentation, and quality control of IT solutions and business systems; reviewing, procuring, implementing, and validating new application solutions to align application functionality with business requirements and strategy; determining data and process distribution with regard to efficiency, technical feasibility, cost, resource consumption, and response time; evaluating program modules for performance scalability and openness of design; and developing programming guidelines/standards, providing technical guidance, and reviewing and certifying code of other developers/programmers. At least 3 years of experience must be within IT services for financial services sector.
