The select candidate will be a highly motivated senior Antenna electrical engineer with a proven track record in array antenna design, preferably for wireless base station applications. This candidate will lead antenna designs, working collaboratively with our internal mechanical engineers, overseeing prototype assembly and testing on simultaneous projects. Our preference is to hire a highly educated antenna engineer with either a Master of Science or PhD in ElectricalEngineering and a minimum of 5years of work experience in designing array antennas.

Our new 12,000 square foot R&D lab and office space are equipped with state of the art equipment, lab, automatic test equipment and tools which include a fully equipped Satimo Stargate SG64 anechoic chamber, a large PIM chamber, VNA, etc.
You will be responsible for designing antennas for existing 3G/4G wireless networks as well as future 5G networks.
Lead designs through initial simulations, engineering of prototypes and measurements through NPI.
Design, simulate and test wideband antenna radiating elements, phase shifters and arrays for antenna pattern optimization.
Responsible for bench tuning antennas for patterns and VNA.
Oversee test and validation of antenna prototypes of radiation patterns from near-field or far-field measurements.
Work closely with mechanical design engineers during all stages of product development to ensure manufacturable and low-PIM antenna designs.
Present antenna design concepts and findings in a transparent and intellectually cooperative environment.
Proficiency in designing antennae using simulation tools such as HFSS and/or CST.
Experience in designing wideband antenna radiating elements, phase shifters and phased arrays for base station applications. (We would entertain experience with defense or space industry antenna designs if necessary)
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and familiarity with the design of low PIM components and antennas.
Background in antenna pattern testing and verification using anechoic chambers is an asset.
Hands-on experience measuring and characterizing antenna performance.
Experience in introducing high volume products for off-shore production.
