Senior Analyst, Treasury Operations

 

Our client is a global provider of health care products and services to medical and dental offices. They offer a comprehensive selection of products and services, delivered through a centralized and automated distributionnetwork, serving more than a million customers worldwide.

 

They are currently seeking a Senior Analyst, Treasury Operations who will responsible for the execution of daily financial transactions and maintains the corporation?s global banking information and reporting. This is a key role in all Treasury activities, including daily cash management, foreign exchange exposure management, and cash forecasting and tracking daily cash flows/balances of our subsidiaries.

 

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

?       Design, implement and maintain financialreports for inclusion in the quarterly treasury report. This includes a summary working capital & cash conversion cycle analysis, credit card fees, non-trade receivable analysis, long term cash forecast model, liquidity overview, debt summary, redeemable non-controlling interest analysis and interest income expense analysis/commentary.

?       Responsible for the execution of daily financial transactions and maintains banking information and reporting.

?       Assist in the implementation of new cash management procedures and bank services.

?       Assist with enhancements to the Treasury Management System (TMS). Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of cash and cash accounting in the Treasury Management System.

?       Assist in the design, implementation and maintenance of a variety of financialreports for inclusion in global cash forecast. This includes short-term and mid-term cash forecasts, a two-week rolling cash forecast and variance analysis for all subsidiaries.

?       Responsible for managing the investment portfolio and making the day to day investment decisions. Prepares monthly analysis to determine performance of the investment performance on the $100M to $350M portfolio.

?       Coordinate the banking requirements for all subsidiaries in North America.

?       Evaluates foreign exchange exposures on a global basis and recommends hedging strategies and netting opportunities. Develops and oversees related hedging strategy efficiency reports for management. Liaise with senior management in various departments such as tax, legal, financialreporting & international regarding global cash flow activity, inter-company financing, foreign exchange hedging alternatives, etc.

?       Reviews interest risk and opportunity analysis/submission (12 month forecast) including, analyzing actual interest variances to budget and prior year for interest income, expense and other interest income and expense and all of the line items in each category.

?       Reviews non-trade receivable portfolio through the treasury management system.

?       Provide variance analysis of our actual quarterly/year to date interest results which gets included in the Board of Director?s analysis as well as in the prepared remarks for our quarterly investorconference call.

?       Preparation of the BMG interest budget involves the retrieval of monthly reports from the BMG website, utilizing Excel pivot tables and formulas to populate the BMG Interest budget file and applying forecasted FX and interest rates to calculate interest income and expense for each entity in the cash pool.

?       Preparation of credit card fee analysis.

?       Reviews treasury quarterly SOX testing, update quarterly SOX tests on BWISE for internal audit (14 controls),

 

REQUIREMENTS: 

?       5 to 7 or more years of increasing responsibility in terms of any applicable professional experience.

?       Bachelor?s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or the equivalent required.

?       Master's degree or global equivalent a plus.

?       Basic understanding of financial processes (Close, Budget, Forecast, etc.)

?       Excellent knowledge of principles and practices in Treasury, with emphasis on the Foreign Exchange market and the mechanics of Foreign Exchange hedging, financial markets and related computer skills.

?       Excellent knowledge of treasury accounting and financial principles and practices required.

?       Excellent analytical and mathematical skills

?       Good planning/organizational skills and techniques

?       Good decision making, analysis and problem solving skills with ability to multi-task

?       Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

?       Good conflict resolution skills and ability to deliver difficult messages and resolve complex issues effectively

 

COMPENSATION

$90-95K plus bonus and excellent benefits
