The Senior Logistics Analyst is a key member of the Logistics team and is responsible for analyzing product flow and assisting the team in developing process plans for various Logistics activities associated with sourcing, operations, and logistics. This position will work closely with VF Coalitions to translate department strategy into specific roadmaps, develop and produce key performance indicators and metrics for measuring progress and produce reporting and data analysis that enables management to take action on findings and recommendations. In addition, the Senior Logistics Analyst will be assigned a lead role on key projects. They will be responsible for coordinating between internal departments and external suppliers. They will ensure all assigned projects are completed on schedule and meet expectations of the various stakeholders. The Senior Logistics Analyst must possess and demonstrate strong analytical acumen, teamwork, project/program lead skills and excellent communication ability.

This individual will operate across a highly-matrixed, multinational organization and help drive the organization's strategic advantage through more in-depth analysis of structured and unstructured data available across VF Corporation's brands with a specific focus on, but not limited to, Europe and Asia.

How You Will Make a Difference:

Perform data gathering tasks, synthesis - develop solutions, project/strategy planning and data utilization

Develop, maintain, and analyze logistics dashboard and reports. Identify trends and recommend corrective action as required. In collaboration with team, develop and provide monthly Executive Summary.

Manage the ongoing logistics supply chain analytics and optimization for OD/AS. Perform cost/benefit, root cause, trend, gap, and ROI analyses and provide recommendations.

Formulate and apply mathematical modeling and otheroptimizing methods to develop and interpret information to support decision making, policy formulation, and other managerial functions.

Perform complex data analyses in support of ad-hoc reporting requests.

Produce documents for teams and leadership to review and utilize.

Build skills and knowledge including self-development, team knowledge and customer (internal) knowledge.

Create and deliver presentations to teams, executive leaders, and sponsors.

Review, document, and enhance, as required, all logisticsprocedures in regard to reporting, analysis, systems update, and communications.

Develop processes, methodologies, and reports for analyzing and presenting data.

Use and support database applications and analytical tools to evaluate data quality, applications, and functions.

Research new data sources and analytical tools.

Partner with managers and key stakeholders around key operational metrics.

Lead and manage projects as assigned.

Years of Related Professional Experience: 5+ years

Educational/ Position Requirements:

5+ years of experience in market research/insights/analytics, competitive intelligence or other similar function with demonstrated ability to manage and function in a complex environment with multiple constituencies.

BA/BS required (Masters strongly preferred).

Formal training in project management preferred.

Expertise in complex modeling including Statistical Forecasting / Time Series modeling / Probability Distribution modeling.

Strong understanding of Supply Chain best practices and trends

Ability to influence and work through others to effectively navigate matrixed organization while ensuring that necessary stakeholders are informed.

Strong communication skills - written and verbal.

Ability to simplify highly complex analyses and output into terms that are easily accessible and impactful in both written and verbal formats.

Future-oriented thinker with expertise in external practices and trends.

High level of analytical and negotiating skills as evidence by high intelligence, strong financial and analytical capabilities.
