Repair, within Collins Aerospace Aftermarket Services in Charlotte, NC. Global Repair has 14 maintenance, overhaul and repair (MRO) sites across the globe. The repair network supports external and internal customers within the strategic business units (SBU). This role includes regular interface and alignment with site and regional finance, general management and SBU teams. The team works in a dynamic environment and partners with business unit colleagues to support company strategies to achieve financial plan targets while maximizing productivity savings and cost reductions.

The successful candidate will have excellent experience in financial planning and analyses (FP&A) within a broad business sector, along with a solid foundation in accounting. Along with the technical expertise, the candidate is a self-starter who displays strong personal leadership, critical thinking, business acumen and the ability to effectively communicate (verbally and orally) at various levels. Role Overview

We are looking for a strong Senior FP&A Analyst to support our Global Repair Finance team. This position is for an Experienced Financial Planning and Analysis professional, overseeing financial analysis, research, budgets, and forecasts. Responsible for preparing forecasts and performing financial modeling to develop and provide reports for functional or operational management.

Primary Responsibilities:

Assist with monthly forecast and annual plan processes for global repair sites and SBUs; support weekly LE updates and SBU profit assurance meetings / reporting.

•Prepare LE for MRO central support departments; analyze variances

•Assist and check MRO sites HFM supplemental and LE submissions for accuracy and promote WWR entities on time

•Prepare monthly central analysis and record close journal entries, if applicable for Volume Rebate, Central TAT

•Assist with monthly and quarterly deliverables to CS HQ under strict time constraints

•Assist with site cost reductions templates and preparation

•Support and distribute ad hoc requests and deliverables

•Assist with coordination of the MSP / EAC quarterly reviews and approvals for adjustments

•Reports directly to Associate Director, Global Repair FP&A

•Support Aftermarket FP&A Manager, Global Repair Finance Director and Global VP with initiatives


Preferred Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Finance or Accounting

Basic Qualifications:

Analytical and variance analysis skills

Must possess strong working knowledge of HFM, Excel and PowerPoint

Experience with SAP preferred, but not required

Adaptability and able to meet strict deadlines to support the business needs

Streamline processes and drive efficiency

Excellent/effective verbal and written communication skills with all levels of employees are required.

Education / Certifications

This position requires a Bachelor's degree in the appropriate discipline and 7 years of relevant experience or an Advanced degree in the appropriate discipline and 5 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a degree, 11 years of relevant experience is required.
