We are looking for talented, enthusiastic, and career-minded Senior Business Systems Analyst to join our Digital Technology Finance Applications team.

In this role you will have the opportunity to design and implement solutions across a wide range of use cases for finance processes. With several ongoing finance initiatives, you will work alongside a highly talented team to deliver results for our customers.

This person will assume a combination of business analyst and project management responsibilities working with our customers, partners, and the digital team to build and deliver new solutions to meet Pratt & Whitney’s growing finance application needs.

To be successful in this position, you will assume ownership of digital technology projects and the SAP manufacturing cost accounting solution. You will be responsible for the delivery of the Part Valuation and Contribution System that is a web-basedapplication with interfaces to the SAP system to determine the material contributions of our engine collaboration partners.

Execution of projects will include the use of internal and external resources to meet business partner requirements. You willassist in the evaluation of new solutions for integration into the finance applications stack.

You will be responsible for the development of functional/technical documentation, facilitation of the passport process via SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and participate in agile team projects.

Do you meet these Basic Qualifications?

  • You've obtained a Bachelor's Degree (required). Preferred fields include Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Finance or Business Management
  • You are a U.S. Citizen (required due to government contractual requirements)
  • You have at least 7 years of experience developing and implementing financial business systems, applications or solutions and project management within a manufacturing environment

How about any of these Preferred Qualifications?

  • Master's Degree / MBA preferred
  • You have 10 or more years of combined Software Development or Program Management, Financial Business Systems, experience within an aerospace manufacturing environment including SAP ERP system configuration
  • Expert level knowledge of SAP FICO and MM modules.
  • Knowledge of Cost Accounting within an Aerospace related manufacturing environment.
  • Perform regular analysis of end-user needs for finance applications
  • Project Management experience and record of delivering finance projects on time and within budget.
  • Ability to communicate business needs and interpret high level business requirements, and liaise between business customers, technology teams and support teams.
  • Ability to work in a high energy, fast paced environment, able to adapt to changing business needs.
  • Highly self-directed and able to learn quickly with a solid ability to drive and deliver results.
  • Six-Sigma, Process Improvement, or Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) Associate Certification is preferred
  • A proven track record of recognizing areas for cost savings and process improvement, and formulating actionable plans toaddress such areas.
  • Experienced generating documentation, Standard work policies and procedures, Process Improvements and Root Cause Corrective Action Skills.
  • You are comfortable working Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. SAP experience preferred.
  • You're a great teammate with excellent judgment, interpersonal skills, cultural awareness and professional maturity.
