JOB DESCRIPTION

About the Team:

You will be a key part of the joint Marketing+Technology team that is responsible for conceptualizing, designing and implementing the customer experience and marketing data innovations that drive Williams-Sonoma Inc.'s industry leading digital business. Primary Function:

Work with the Customer Information Management and Brand teams to execute catalog and other direct-to-consumer, data-driven marketing programs, including mailfile selection and creation, campaign set-up, testing, and deployment.

Specific Responsibilities

* Manage the audiences for numerous, complex cross-channel marketing programs.
* Manage WSI's overall catalog production process by overseeing and troubleshooting campaign set-up, maintaining and streamlining the production schedule, and executing campaign selections using the MBS methodology (WSI's proprietary campaign management solution)
* Manage campaign planning between Brands and Customer Information Management teams
* Consult with brand marketing teams and use Ab Initio (or Informatica ETL) and SQL to create audiences for direct mail campaigns and digital campaigns to optimize marketing investment
* Facilitate workflow and communication (amongst partners, other analysts) to ensure that deadlines and requirements for campaigns are efficiently and consistently met
* Deliver accurate and timely list pulls for other digital marketing programs, including social media, display advertising, SEM, and more
* Act as subject matter expert for all campaign processes, requirements & technology
* Translate complex business requests into database queries, using SQL to deliver counts and reports that help others within the company gain a better understanding of our customers
* Analyze and synthesize multiple data sources and databases to identify, diagnose, troubleshoot, and solve data issues
* Oversee and revise the production schedules by identifying systemic process improvements and updating due date formulas accordingly
* Juggle multiple audience creations and list pulls at once by optimizing time management, planning, and organization
* Lead and support data acquisition opportunities by liaising with partner and brand teams to ensure all administrative and technical aspects of the campaign are met, testing functionality of creative and other technical specs, performing QA and analysis, and acting as product champion across the organization to ensure successful activation across channels and brands.
* Monitor and oversee the quality of data processes by building reports and performing checks of inputs and outputs
* Manage invoice coding and tracking, prepare budget reconciliation quarterly summaries, and assemble next year's budget recommendations
* Identify system/business process failures and dynamically develop short-term work-arounds and long-term solutions
* Own vendor management activities by engaging in vendor discovery/contract process, leading vendor status meetings, and evaluating vendor performance
* Use intellectual creativity to solve system and business problems or improve inefficiencies

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
* At least 3 years experience with SQL
* At least 1 years experience in catalog campaign management or equivalent direct marketing experience
* Experience with campaign management such Unica/Epiphany a plus
* Experience with Excel, Unix, Ab Initio, and Informatica ETL is a plus
* Motivation and aptitude for learning new skills quickly
