SUMMARYThis position will work with the Capital Markets team and broader Corporate Finance group to advance Welltower's investment opportunities and overall growth strategy. The role is highly visible and requires regular collaboration with senior management of the Company and periodic interaction with the Board of Directors. The objectives of the Capital Markets team include:
- Ensure access to a plurality of efficient capital sources across debt and equity and the public and private markets
- Delivery of company's fundamental operating performance and strategic initiatives and investments to key external stakeholders in partnership with cross-functional teams across the company
- Maximize impact of investor relations strategy through the preparation and coordination of presentations to institutional investors, Wall Street analysts, bank groups, and rating agencies, as well as multi-year strategic presentations for the Company's Board of Directors
- Optimize management team effectiveness with activities related to conferences, property tours, investor meetings and managing investor inquiries and requests
- Monitor trends in equity, fixed income, foreign exchange and derivatives markets to establish and execute balance sheet strategy and determine optimal sources of capital
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESCapital Markets
- Contribute to the execution of capital raises through public equity offerings, debt offerings, restructurings, bridge loans, and other financings including working with outside counsel, lenders and banking relationships
- Support the execution and management of the company's foreign exchange and interest rate derivatives hedging strategy
- Build and manage corporate sources & uses model; integrate with annual budget and transaction pipeline; present cash management and leverage position to senior management and participate in short and long-term capitalization strategy
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly NAV modeling and cost of capital guidelines
Investor Relations
- Support management team with activities related to conferences, property tours, investor meetings and managing investor inquiries and requests
- Manage correspondence with research analysts. Review analyst models and coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial projections and earnings estimates
- Evaluate content of supplemental financial information and support the management team in the preparation of quarterly earnings analysis and call materials
- Oversee drafting and publication of press releases, presentation materials and transaction announcements, including working with internal and external parties on content and messaging
- Collaborate with internal and external resources on corporate branding and internal ad hoc research projects
Financial Planning and Analysis
- Collaborate with the financial planning and analysis team to prepare projections, analyses and presentations for the Board of Directors, investors, research analysts and rating agencies

COMPENSATION Salaries may vary by location. The range for this role is $96,000 - $125,000 plus bonus. Salary determinations are made based on numerous factors, such as, but not limited to, the relevant market and the skill, experience, and education of the selected candidate.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of pertinent experience in capital markets.
- Proficiency in interpreting and analyzing publicly reported financial statements.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with senior internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft PowerPoint, capable of crafting visually appealing presentations. Demonstrated ability to transform intricate financial analyses into easily understandable charts and graphs.
