Aerojet Rocketdyne seeks a Senior Analyst, Business Operations (Senior Financial Analyst) at either our Camden, Arkansas or our Huntsville, Alabama location.
Position will provide financial analysis for direct contracts to include budgeting, estimates at completion, revenue recognition, forecasting, earned value, planning and applicable analysis and reporting. Prepare and present recommendations to management based on financial planning data. Act as primary department resource between accounting, business planning, contracts, program management, and operational management on financial and performance issues.

Essential Job Functions (Including % of Time for Each)
50% - Perform monthly budgeting, forecasting, ETC/EAC monitoring, revenue recognition and variance analysis.
30% - Generate and maintain Earned Value Management Reporting.
10% - Internal and external audits.
5% - Involved in proposal pricing, fact finding and negotiations.
5% - Review and approve contract changes and procurement requisitions.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline such as Business, Finance or Accounting and six (6) years of directly related experience such as transactional accounting, audit or financial analysis (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).

- Prior work experience in government contracting.
- Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, earned value management system procedures and application, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and contracting requirements.
- Experience with cost accounting standards, performance measurement systems and command media.

Employees in these positions must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer; stamina to sit and to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions; may occasionally lift/carry/push/pull up to 15 pounds; may require minimal walking, climbing, stooping, crouching, and/or bending; and vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone. May require the ability to travel by air or auto. May require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, safety shoes, and shop coat. These positions may be expected to work varying shifts and hours to ensure successful operation of activities in the organization.
