Position Purpose:

  • The Senior Organizational Development Advisor is responsible for helping to develop the strategy, methodology, and solutions for the various OHCM practices areas including: workforce consulting and planning, organization structure (org. alignment and org. design), succession process management, employee performance excellence process management, key talent development, leadership coaching and high performance culture enablement. These solutions must effectively address business and function priorities, assess gaps, and drive organization performance
  • From an immediate standpoint, this position will have a view into the large-scale change portfolio for TASC and will be required to leverage subject-matter expertise and experience to translate the business agenda into solutions and specific interventions to progress the organizational structure, role and talent alignment toward the desired state
  • The successful candidate draws on extensive business knowledge and continues to learn and engage in dialogue internally and externally to ensure organization design/development strategies, methodologies and solutions are business relevant and support the “TASC Way.” He/she possesses a high level of thought leadership, business acumen, pragmatism, global understanding, change leadership and agility with a proven track record of success leading large-scale organization change activities for a geographically dispersed enterprise
  • This is a full-time, exempt position working Monday through Friday. The position will report to our Director of Talent Management and Organizational Development

Positional Responsibilities:

  • Bring thought leadership and expertise to establish and help facilitate broad enterprise discussions and process to align functional work with organizational structure, including a plan to ensure sustainable application for future workforce planning and future organizational transitions to ensure execution of business strategy
  • Partner across HR to build a career track and level framework to enable consistent, transparent, seamless workforce mobility, workforce planning and system-wide leader and staff growth and development by integrating framework content (levels, competency/capability proficiency, success indicators/predictors, etc.) into talent assessment & review processes (talent selection, succession planning, talent review, performance review, promotional decisions, development assignments, etc.)
  • Design organizational development interventions including team alignment, leadership coaching and other targeted leadership development experiences to drive organizational performance
  • Support the implementation of a TASC-designed Leadership Attribute Framework through talent review, selection, succession planning to support and enable focused development planning work
  • Operate within TASC’s guidelines pursuant to the Employee Handbook and all Policies and Procedures

Experience Requirements:

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 12+ years of relevant business and/or human resources experience
  • Minimum 7 years experience in the field of OD with an emphasis on organization design
  • Mastery knowledge in OD and associated practice areas, and demonstrated experience leading large-scale change efforts, esp. organization design and senior leadership team effectiveness interventions 
  • Demonstrated experience in organization development/organization effectiveness (OD/OE) disciplines
  • Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and deploy scalable frameworks and tools with a continuous improvement / agile mindset
  • Strong knowledge of business/operating models and corporate strategy, and demonstrated ability to translate business priorities into solutions 
  • Strong diagnostic and consultative skills, and relevant experience in leading complex change for a diverse global enterprise
Preferred:
  • SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification, or demonstrated experience (5 – 7 years) in other HR role groups, e.g., HR business partner or HR shared services role
  • Knowledge of other talent management related disciplines (e.g. talent acquisition, talent management/performance management, competency models and assessment) 
  • Masters in Organization Behavior, Organization Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, HRD, or related area of study
