SENIOR ACCOUNTANT at JBS in Riverside, CA

Principle Responsibilities:

• Complete month end close responsibilities related to production accounting.
• Complete weekly P&L reporting.
• Reconcile production accounting activities related to inventory
• Create, validate and update weekly product costing runs.
• Create new product cost set up.
• Analyze production variances and report weekly to plant management
• Reconcile production variance P&L to financial P&L.
• Liaise with production teams to ensure procedures are being followed.
• Maintain and report production and operations KPI’s.
• Implement controls throughout manufacturing environment.
• Establish and maintain written desk procedures.
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Education: B.S. Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred

Experience: 5+ years accounting experience

Special Skills:

• Good interpersonal skills
• Good communication skills, written and verbal
• Ability to multi-task along with maintaining a high level of accuracy
• Ability to manage through change
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• SAP or Oracle experience
