Job Description

The Team

The Finance Team is responsible for executing Imprint’s financial strategy and empowering teams with insightful analysis, cross functional collaboration, and operational rigor. We work closely with our leaders, investors, Bank Partners, and merchant partners to execute company strategy and build financial discipline as we scale through our next stage of hyper-growth.

The Job

The Senior Accountant role is a critical position responsible for managing various financial functions. This includes overseeing procurement activities, ensuring accurate and timely recording of accounts payable and accounts receivable, conducting bank reconciliations, and maintaining compliance with accounting principles and regulations. Additionally, the Senior Accountant will play a key role in treasury management, including cash flow monitoring, forecasting, and liquidity management. The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, along with a CPA certification and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in financial software are crucial for success in this role. The Senior Accountant will also collaborate with cross-functional teams, prepare financial statements and reports, and stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting standards.

Your Day-to-Day

Manage all financial transactions and ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and regulations

Oversee the procurement process, including vendor selection, negotiation, and managing the renewal process with vendor owners

Maintain and update the accounts payable and accounts receivable records, ensuring timely and accurate payment and collection of invoices

Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records

Prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets for management review and decision-making

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial analysis and guidance in support of business operations

Manage and oversee treasury functions, including cash management, forecasting, and liquidity management

Monitor and analyze cash flows, ensuring sufficient funds are available for daily operations and strategic initiatives

Develop and implement cash management policies and procedures to optimize cash utilization and minimize risk

Prepare and review cash flow projections, financial forecasts, and financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making

Prepare financial reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders

Document and update the finance processes on a regular basis

We Are Looking For Folks With

Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Required)

Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on treasury and financial management

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting standards

Proficiency in using accounting software and financial management systems

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines

Knowledge of industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to treasury management and financial reporting.
