Electrolux North America, Inc., a $5 billion manufacturing and sales subsidiary of AB Electrolux, is seeking an experienced Accountant to handle a variety of accounting and reporting activities. The position reports to the Accounting Supervisor/ Manager, North America and is based in Charlotte, NC.


The Senior Accountant is responsible for:

  • Perform month-end close responsibilities and financial reporting accurately as assigned and in compliance with internal controls
  • Perform quarterly and annual forecast reporting accurately as assigned and in compliance with internal controls
  • Establish transfer pricing annually, monitor and analyze cost components for logistics
  • Middle East - APAC cluster SAP system; routinely review transfer pricing calculations, and ensure updated costs and prices are reflected in SAP
  • Perform reporting for royalties in NA, APAC and LA
  • Oversee the maintenance of the product pricing local system as well as the
  • Provide frequent and timely support to business partners throughout the organization
  • Financial statement preparation and presentation
  • Holds responsibility for the technical implementation of accounting guidelines in conjunction with financial reporting
  • Ensure the effective administration and integrity of the General Ledger
  • Standardize and streamline process efficiencies
  • Follow internal control procedures to ensure compliance
  • Post complex and sensitive journal entries
  • Prepare accurate and timely balance sheet reconciliations
  • Prepare information as needed for external auditors
  • Compile federal and state tax information for the tax department annually
  • Perform other projects as assigned by the Accounting Manager

Minimum Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with Accounting concentration required
  • 5 years accounting experience in industry or public accounting required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to details and good organizational skills
  • Advanced MS Excel required
  • JD Edwards, AS400, SAP and SQL experience a plus

The ideal candidate will also possess a proactive work ethic including the ability and desire to take ownership of projects when identified. The candidate will have to be able to adjust to changing priorities and schedule hours, to adapt to the business needs.
