Full Job Description
As a Senior Accountant, you'll help drive the accuracy and integrity of our accounting operations. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you'll support revenue audits, financial reporting, reconciliations, and compliance activities while partnering with cross-functional teams to improve processes and maintain strong financial controls. You'll play a key role in month-end close activities, identifying and resolving discrepancies, and strengthening accounting processes that support informed business decisions in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment. **What You'll Do** - Complete daily revenue and cashier audits, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial transactions. - Research, reconcile, and resolve variances, discrepancies, and losses while preparing related reporting and documentation. - Prepare month-end journal entries, general ledger account reconciliations, gaming tax filings, and compliance reporting. - Support internal and external audit requests while helping maintain strong accounting controls and operational procedures. - Partner with vendors, auditors, and other stakeholders to provide accounting guidance and deliver exceptional service. **What You'll Bring** - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, a related field, or equivalent professional experience. - At least 2 years of accounting experience, preferably within a retail, gaming, hospitality, or similarly fast-paced environment. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across teams. - The ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment and obtain a gaming license in applicable jurisdictions. #LI-SA2 We're a publicly traded (NASDAQ: DKNG) technology company headquartered in Boston. The US base salary range for this full-time position is 84,600.00 USD - 105,800.00 USD, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
