Senior Account Manager
Responsible for expanding customer base for aviation products. Responsible for maintaining high level of support and ensuring customers? satisfaction.
Research market trends. Advertise and promote company product, and advise potential and existing customers on company capabilities. Explore with production and engineering ability to develop new capabilities.
Assist VP Marketing in negotiating contracts. Follow up on projects in order to update customers on status and delivery.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
? Direct and oversee Organization?s sales effort ?aviation focus Travels to customer facilities to develop and maintain business relationships.
? Identify new opportunities within these businesses and develop lasting and trusting relationships with them.
? Negotiate and manage contracts with customers
? Research and estimate product demand. Consult with and advise customers? buying personnel regarding the types of products or services expected to be in demand.
? Travel, domestic and international to visit customers and to represent the company in trade-shows
? Assists the company?s executives in developing effective marketing strategies and provide them with information on market trends occurring in the company?s primary industry
? Make cold sales call in an effort to increase business by introducing our services to potential customers and to diversify the company?s customer base.
? Act as a liaison between customers and production department by assisting in resolution of customers? concerns.
? Ensure high level of customer satisfaction
? Document and regularly keep superiors abreast on all aspect of the job.
? Submit trip reports, charts/graphs and presentations to VP Sales and to the president.
? Keep accurate and detailed expense reports and submit in a timely manner
? Assist with other tasks as requested by the department head
SPECIAL SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
? Must possess knowledge of the aviation/aerospace industry and be able to identify trends to keep the company in the forefront of the industry.
? Must possess ability to negotiate and close sales transactions, manage and resolve problems both internally and externally to assure customer satisfaction.
? Must possess effective oral and written communication skills
? Must have interpersonal skills effective in connecting with people
? Must be able to deliver convincing and concise presentations and be able to communicate effectively in
person or using any medium.
? High level of organization, accuracy, and detail orientation
? Must be able and available for domestic and international travel.
