Senior Account Manager – Mobility Managed Services

We are seeking a highly motivated sales processional to join a large company's mobility managed services / enterprise mobility business unit.

This role will cover a multi-state territory, selling the company's mobility services related to deployment, depot, help desk, telecom expense management, repair and professional services.

The position will work from your home office with frequent travel to customer locations.


Meet or exceed annual service sales financial targets (e.g. orders and periodic contract net gain plans), which contribute to divisional profit and growth objectives

Identify new business opportunities at existing and potential customers, served direct and through distribution, to ensure sustained profitable growth

Develop and execute sales plans for key accounts with account managers that are linked to the organizations' market objectives and strategies

Utilize all available resources, differentiating the organization to grow the business

Identify and develop relationships with the key decision makers, uncover new business opportunities, recommend differentiated solutions, negotiate, win the business and provide post-sale support

Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of the organization's core competencies and operational capabilities to provide solutions for customers resulting in profitable growth

Develop and maintain an expert understanding of current and prospective customers to maximize market share. Understand the Vision, Mission and Value Proposition to differentiate the organization in

Facilitate dialogue and build relationships with internal and external customers

Assume a leadership role when appropriate and functioning 'boundary-less' throughout the organization

Participate and contribute to Business Teams and Task Teams

Gather, interpret and communicate customer, competitive, and market information to the organization

Identify and pre-qualify business opportunities and making recommendations to the organization

Utilize account management software tools to keep complete and current information on customers resulting in effective territory management

Leverage communication tools (voice mail, e-mail, web) to improve productivity


  • Bachelor's degree
  • Proven sales experience
  • Experience selling enterprise mobility services
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed quota in a complex sales environment
  • Polished professional with excellent organizational, communication negotiations, and interpersonal skills
  • Positive track record calling on customer's plant management, upper management and VP levels
