The Senior Account Executive is one of our most valued roles. Your impact on the Sales team directly enhances the finance professional's workflow, by educating prospective clients on the powerful value and benefits Sentieo will have for their investing and financial analysis efforts. As a Senior Account Executive, you will be engaging with our largest prospective clients. You will be navigating the sales cycle by honing in on a prospective client's goals, needs, and issues to provide a tailored solution with Sentieo. With your contribution to our Sales team, Sentieo will continue to grow as the leading research tool for finance professionals.


  • Create, implement & execute an account plan to aggressively drive direct Sentieo sales efforts and revenue results
  • Meet and exceed all Sentieo revenue goals and targets on a monthly, quarterly, annual basis
  • Develop lasting account relationships with prospects and maximize upselling opportunities
  • Lead all aspects of the sales efforts - from initial qualification of a prospect through the execution of contracts and handoff to Customer Success
  • Perform needs assessments with prospects and existing customers to determine how Sentieo can offer the best solutions that improve analyst workflow & research management
  • Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations that highlight Sentieo's competitive advantages and superior ROI for prospects/clients
  • Develop needs-based solution proposals and resolve any post-proposal challenges with proof-of-concept (structured evaluations) and initial on-boarding of new clients
  • Identify, organize and focus Sentieo internal resources (pre-sales and post-sales) that are required to effect closure of new sales opportunities
  • Stay abreast of industry news, competition and ecosystem trends - thus, being the resident expert for the customer segment
  • Work with Customer Success Organization to exceed customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Maintain a high level of pipeline and CRM discipline and accurate customer and prospect interaction data


  • 3+ years closing experience with a technical SaaS B2B Product
  • Demonstrated & quantifiable history of meeting and exceeding annual sales objectives with average deal size of 15k-75k+ ARR
  • Proven track record of managing Enterprise deals from inception to close
  • Daily use of or similar CRM
  • Face-to-face presentations to executive level decision makers: CIO/CTO, Managing Director or VP Level
  • Ability to travel 20-30% as required
