Who you are

A results-driven and energetic self-starter with excellent communication and organizational skills looking to join our growing team as a Senior Account Executive. You will be responsible for increasing profitable sales growth of ConXtech to support business plan revenue goals. S/he will be responsible for interfacing with the AECO community (Architects, Engineers, Contractors, Owners/Developers) and internal customers to handle a variety of pre-sales and post-sales functions.

You have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical and/or work experiencerequired
  • Effective communication skills of all types that would include ability to write reports, create sales presentations and preliminary proposals outlining our Total Installed Cost value proposition
  • Ability to present our core product offerings and provide technical expertise on our product in front of large and small groups
  • Strong organization skills, prioritization and time management skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Power Point, Excel); ability to learn company specific systems to manage business and to present information
  • Proficiency in reporting all business development interactions, activities, leads, project information and sales pipeline forecast through SalesForce; or technical aptitude to master the use of SalesForce
  • 5 – 10 years of successful Business Development, Sales or Technical Sales history within the construction industry

What you’ll be doing

As a Senior Account Executive for ConXtech, you’ll:

  1. Develop specific sales plans, proposals and strategies for new sales opportunities
  2. Drive the positioning of ConXtech as the preferred supplier for new construction projects
  3. Build relationships with key AECO clients at all levels
  4. Assist customers with business-related needs and answers sales calls
  5. Provide office based and virtual presentations to AECO clients on the benefits of the ConXtech system
  6. Responsible for providing sales and administrative support for ConXtech
  7. Act as a liaison between customers, sales, field and office personnel to resolve general inquiries
  8. Analyze customer inquiries to determine appropriate expectations and recognizes new business opportunities
  9. Attend and participate in company sales meetings, as well as trade and industry meetings, shows and conventions to increase knowledge of ConXtech products, improve selling techniques and cultivate good working relationships with accounts and ConXtech users
  10. Collaborate with ConXtech Engineering, Modeling, Estimating and Construction to specify ConXtech as the structural steel solution on projects during the design phase
  11. Ability to travel up to 50% of the time to support business development efforts throughout the country. Additional domestic travel may be required to attend conventions, trade shows, and for clients located outside of our region.
