The US Seeds National Account Manager manages the NK Brand and house brand licensing customer-based business to include developing long term strategy for growth and profit for National Retail Accounts.  The US Seeds National Account Manager is part of the NK Seed Leadership team and is the liaison between the National Accounts and our field sales teams across the country establishing one Syngenta Seeds face and focal point for customers. Key Account Manager Strategic Account Manager  

  • Establish productive, professional relationships with customers to ensure long-term success
  • Ensure strong communication and coordination between Syngenta and with various levels (executive to front line) and functions (sales, supply chain, service, etc.) of National Accounts;
  • Develop customer offers that relate to Syngenta and customers’ Key Performance Indicators;
  • Lead/Coordinate with business groups on customer activities;
  • Implement marketing/sales strategies/tactics; lead development of strategic initiatives;
  • Develop top-line sustainable growth platform;
  • Direct value-selling and execution of customer- based programs while managing brand related competitive issues at the customer level;
  • Proactively anticipate, assess, clarify and validate customer needs on ongoing basis
  • Collaborate with customers and Syngenta stakeholders on seed treatment plans and initiatives with customers; Joint Seed and CP sales plan development; 


  • Manage one or multiple customers:  CPS, Helena, Winfield, Growmark, Seedway, CHS, Pinnacle, Seedkoz, Simplot, CNI, MFA and/or Wilbur Ellis
  • Revenue and Profits: NK Seed and Genetics/Trait Licensing
  • Syngenta-Account strategic planning and relationship-building
  • Offer design, implementation and continuous improvement for enhanced ROI and increased business alignment
  • Key contact/interface for all Syngenta Seeds Business
  • Key customer consultative asset
  • Drive communication (internal and external) within organizations in seamless fashion
  • Develop business plans that engage customer in strategic partner activities
  • Business process analysis and improvement


Knowledge, experience & capabilities

Critical experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Sales/Management/Marketingexperience preferably in the Agricultural Industry
  • Minimum 7+ years in agriculture industry
  • Proven Track record in Strategic Decision Making
  • Retail Natonal Account Management experience within Agriculture Industry is highly preferred
