Lead teams on the development and execution of complex and challenging evaluations, including: Remedial Investigations, Feasibility Studies, Remedial Designs, and Construction Plans/Oversight.
Provide technical expertise to our existing contaminated sediment nationwide portfolio of projects, as well as consult on new sediment opportunities and provide support for those pursuits nationally.
Provide subject matter expertise, for our Sediment Management practice growth initiatives in order to enhance our portfolio.
Specific Tasks that you may perform:
Remedy Selection and Detailed Design including the development of specifications and design drawings
Remedy negotiations with regulators
Feasibility studies for Remediation and alternative assessments
Engineering and cost analyses of innovative technologies
Evaluation of remedy implementation risks
Dredge prism designs
Chemical isolation cap modeling and design
Evaluation of innovative sediment capping/in situ technologies
Sediment dewatering and treatment design
Water treatment design, construction, and operation
Landfill design, construction support, operation, and closure
Habitat Restoration/Assessments
Contaminant Transport Analysis and Site Conceptual Models
Fate and transport modeling and assessments
Bathymetric surveying
Job Requirements:
4-year degree in Environmental, Civil, Geotechnical or related engineering curriculum.
5+ years of relevant industry experience performing sediment design and related tasks as outlined above
Professional Engineer (PE) certificate required, or ability to obtain PE within 1 year of hire
Ability and desire to lead other engineers in Sediment Design Projects
Proficiency in various computer software applications typically used within the assigned discipline
