Position Summary

Role overview

Manages people, and programs or projects involving department or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of projects into a finished state. Oversees plans and directs schedules as well as project budgets. Monitors the program/project from initiation through delivery, interfacing with internal customer or department personnel. Organizes project activities that may require interdepartmental meetings and communication ensuring completion of the program/project on schedule and within budget constraints. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. In this role, direct people management responsibility required.
 

Key responsibilities of the role

    Manage all Global Security programs working closely with Regional Security Managers.

    Ensure Global Security 900 procedures are kept current, to include quarterly update oversight. New procedures to be written and implemented as required.

    Manage program crisis management tabletop exercise schedule to ensure compliance with annual commitments.  Work with Regional Security Managers to ensure rollout of exercises, to include documenting action items and see through to completion.

    Manage annual global site security assessment schedule for compliance.  Working with Regional Security Mangers, log findings from individual assessments and follow up to ensure resolution for each.

    Monitor Secure Development Environment (SDE) space for all Rockwell Automation facilities and assess for compliance in meeting SDE physical security standards.

    Create and report on department monthly metrics.  Maintain historical data and conduct analysis around trends for action.  

    Monitor and collect threat intelligence from 3rd party security partners.  Work with Regional Security Managers, to include action items based on level of threat at hand. Develop and execute plans to create a central repository of threat intelligence, and to communicate information with appropriate people throughout the Company.

    Maintain the global Security Coordinator contact list.

    Log all security event information and cases into the designated case management system (Navex).  Oversee all Navex administration, including trends and analysis, reporting, etc.

    Support the Director and Regional Security Managers by maintaining consistent regional security awareness training modules and training decks.

    Support investigative activities as deemed appropriate working with the Regional Security Mangers.

    Support the Director and Security and Regional Managers in planning strategic annual workshops and training sessions.

    Support the Mergers and Acquisition activities.

    Manage staff responsible for global, physical security design and implementation, as well as the Facility Security Officer (FSO) for government contractor compliance with the National Industrial Security Program (NISP).

 
 

Functional expertise

Interpersonal: The Program Manager should have experience as a people manager, and must demonstrate proven leadership capabilities: the ability to self-motivate and work well in a team environment, while also leading those they may manage directly.   The individual will frequently interact with peers and internal customers, thus gaining cooperation of others is critical.

Minimum Qualifications

Required candidate attributes
 

    8 years’ experience in global security or related field, preferably in a large, global company
    Bachelor’s degree
