Job Description

Securonix is looking to hire a Security Engineer to architect and implementation Securonix solutions to identify actionable cyber threats Architect and implement Securonix solution and perform data analytics to identify actionable threats for fortune 500 customers. The Security Engineer will manage the day-to-day interactions with client security teams and other key technical stakeholders. They will deliver against the statement of work (SOW), advice on security issues, establish self as trusted advisor, and accomplish all goals defined by the engagement.

Qualifications

• MS Computer Science (All Specializations - General/Cybersecurity/DataScience preferred)
• Experience in coding using Core Java and related technologies, scripting languages like Bash, Python etc.
• Experience in working with Hadoop/Relational databases/SQL queries
• Good knowledge of IT security/firewalls/security audit logs/malware/Unix and Windows system security events
• Familiarity with IDS/ IPS and SIEM technologies.
• Hands on experience preferable.
• Strong analytical skills to understand data and come up with use cases to build security portfolio for clients
• Familiarity with machine learning techniques would be a plus point
• Good communication skills / Advanced technical writing skills
• Knowledge of Java/Python and Mysql Knowledge of Hadoop is good to have
• Knowledge of UNIX and MySQL is a must
• Travel – Approx. 0 - 25%
• Must be legally authorized to work in the USA. Will sponsor H1-B work visa for eligible candidates
