Security Engineer

Meta's Product Security team is seeking a passionate hacker who derives purpose in life by revealing potential weaknesses and then crafting creative solutions to eliminate those weaknesses. Your skills will be the foundation of security initiatives that protect the security and privacy of over two billion people. You will be relied upon to provide engineering and product teams with the web, mobile, or native-code security expertise necessary to make confident product decisions. • Provide security guidance on a constant stream of new products and technologies
• Take a leadership role in driving internal security and privacy initiatives
• Analyze, assess, and respond to various internet threats
• Interact directly with the security community regarding mobile security vulnerabilities and threats
• Conduct regular security assessments and specializing on mobile platform and application code

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience reviewing c and c++. Knowledge of best practice secure code development
• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• Experience ensuring security and privacy on the internet
• Knowledge of Internet issues and experience on mobile security space
• Communication experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Contributions to the security community (public research, blogging, presentations, bug bounty, etc.)

$143,000/year to $204,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Please note the national salary range listed in the job posting reflects the new hire salary range across levels and U.S. locations that would be applicable to the position. Final salary will be commensurate with the candidate’s final level and final location.
