Job Description:Advantage SCI is seeking Security Consultants to support criminal history record information and law enforcement support programs and military or civilian personnel assigned to criminal indexing cells, task forces or field units. This includes preparation of instructional lessons supporting criminal indexing to include the development and delivery of in-person and virtual training courses.
Some travel is anticipated. Travel may include local, TDY, or OCONUS.
Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Developing, preparing, and delivering instructional material supporting criminal indexing policies and procedures.
- Developing or updating criminal records training using intentional course design with lesson plans and guides.
- Delivering training to 20-30 students each month onsite or as a mobile training team.
- Preparing training guides and training aids for field unit training programs.
- Providing expertise in content creation and management of products in government provided learning management system
- Providing government support to creating, updating, and delivering in-person, mobile training team, and virtual training related to law enforcement topics, law enforcement IT systems (e.g., evidence tracking, biometric collection, DoJ system access, etc.), administrative and criminal indexing, case management, the case management system, and records management.
- Tracking, monitoring, and reporting internal workflows
- Tracking overall level of effort by the organization in monthly report / dashboard.
- Integrating products with data analytics contractors and/or robotic process automation contractors
Experience and Skills- Minimum of 6 years relevant and specialized experience and associate's degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience in security management, assessments, law enforcement and criminal justice operations and training.
- Experience in recommending and writing organizational training and procedure documents; developing and conducting virtual training; setting guidelines for curriculum development and training; evaluate management/assessment methodology, preparing and conducting high level briefings, conducting research, preparing reports and special studies.
