Cue Health Inc. is seeking to hire a full-time Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) Engineer. The SDET Engineer plays a key role in the development of all our new products and features. As part of our agile team a successful candidate will use a variety of testing methodologies to validate new features and perform regression testing on the existing systems. The person in this role is responsible for testing mobile and web apps and will be responsible for software validation testing cycle and ensure high expectations of our device.
Create, modify and execute tests (including ad-hoc and interoperability) for mobile and web apps.
Understand software requirements, write test plans and other test documentation as required.
Regress, isolate and report issues found during manual and automated testing.
Stay current on latest network and security technologies, including data leakage technology and HIPAA standards.
Be a vocal proponent for quality in every phase of the development process.
Creating and writing guidelines for testing new products.
Writing programs and scripts as necessary to automate the software testing.
Work closely with the different software team members (Firmware, Mobile App, Front/Backend etc.) to test new features.
Executing tests using diagnostic software and hardware.
Be a proponent of automation to enhance software test automation capability through scripting and other software tools.
Additional duties as assigned
B.S. Degree in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering or higher degree.
4+ years of SDET experience.
Good understanding of Software Development and Test methodologies & practices.
Knowledge of mobile app development and test for iOS/Android using Swift/ Java.
Programming/Scripting languages such as C, Python, Java script etc.
Automation tools such as Appium and Selenium
Excellent communication skills (ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience)
Strong background and experience in software testing methodology, test development, and test execution in CI environment.
Willing to learn new technologies and accept challenges.
Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged period of time
Adjusting, moving, or lifting objects up to 25 pounds
Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers
