1Scrum Master

? Servant Leader ? Earn respect from scrum team and be willing to assist in any way to help get the job done by removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments quickly

o Assertive ? Ensure Agile/Scrum concepts and principles are adhered to, must be able to be a voice of reason and authority, make the tough calls

o Situationally Aware ? First to notice differences and issues the team is encountering and bring it to their attention

o Remove Impediments

? Facilitator ? Release Planning, Sprint Zero Activities, Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Sprint Retrospectives and Sprint Reviews

o Conflict Resolution ? Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with emphasis on problem solving

? Coach ? Specifically supporting and educating the team, especially with respect to grooming and maintaining the product backlog

o Lead and empower a team to self-organization

o Enthusiastic ? High-energy, self-motivated team member

o Guidance ? Ensure team is adhering to Constellation''s Standards of Practice, monitor data integrity in VersionOne, and track metrics on team health

o Continual Improvement ? Willing and self-motivated to bring new scrum concepts to the team and improve in scrummaster role

? Communicator ? Informs stakeholders and project managers of project schedule, risks, and issues

o Transparency ? Desire to bring disclosure and transparency to the business about team''s progress resulting in business trust

? Negotiator ?work withother departments for acquisition of required personnel, ensure team members are fully dedicated when necessary

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS 

Minimum requirements:

?Bachelor''s degree is required with a preference in Business or IT 

? Minimum of seven (7) years of professional experience 

?Experience in Agile environment

? Understand the basic fundamentals of iterative development

Preferredqualifications:

? Master''s degree

?Scrum Master Certification 

? Demonstrated knowledge and use of VersionOne

? Demonstrated knowledge of Scrum, Agile, and Kanban preferred

? Demonstrated experience within a PMO team

? Demonstrated knowledge of both the Retail and Wholesale Gas and/or Power business

? Demonstrated experiencepartnering with stakeholders from various departments within the company together to gain alignment on sensitive issues

? Demonstrated experience leading and managing change management initiatives 

? Comprehensive knowledge of the energy industry and retail operations and an understanding of the end to end processes and controls

? Demonstrated experiencepartnering with IT that functions within Agile framework 

? Ability to effectively manage workload and meet aggressive deadlines

? Demonstrated success in establishing senior-level relationships and networks

? Strong interpersonal, motivational and communication skills

? Superior and proven ability to influence, build alignment and partner across the organization

?Experience with coordinating change management efforts associated with projects

? Proven ability to lead a team with multiple employees in remote locations

? Proven ability to be a key contributor to a discussion and drive decision making

POSITION SCOPE

- Identify key factors that provide a measure of the position''s impact on the organization. 

?Responsibilities span Retail Power, Gas, Demand Response, Mass Markets and occasionally Wholesale This team supports all business lines, commodities and functional areas of the business and must have basic understanding of all core systems used within the various businesses.

? Team members will be located in Baltimore, Maryland, Houston, Texas or De Pere, Wisconsin

? Position requires both autonomy and team work and allows for independence and decision making 

? High visibility and exposure to leaders and management across the Business while working on a variety of projects

?Internal contacts with every functional area throughout the retail business
