Position Type: ContractWork Status: US Citizen/Green CardInterview Process: Phone, then Face to Face or SKYPERate: DOE (W2 Only) Scope:Manages applications engineering team who research, collect and report information on the ability and capacity of company products and competing equipment. Oversees and contributes to the design and development of equipment and systems or redesign to existing equipment to fulfill the needs of customers. Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget. Acts as advisor to applications engineering team regarding projects, tasks, and operations. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and at least 8 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complex tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Must Have: - Certified Scrum Professional/Master and Agile Coach with over 5 years (preferred) direct experience as a scrum master on agile software teams
- Experience with managing transitions of agile delivery teams from Waterfall to SCRUM or Kanban
- Effective at coaching/mentoring the agile team on agile process and practices
- Well versed with software development life cycle (SDLC), Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, ITSM, PMI PMBOK, Six Sigma, CMMi methodologies
- Must understand SDLC and Continuous Integration
- Experience with commercial tools such as: Rally or Jira (or similar tools)
- Experienced with test driven development, continuous integration, and continuous delivery practices
