Advanced Diagnostics-Genetics, Genomics and R&D currently has an established program where scientists and physician-scientists design, develop and validate diagnostics tests using state of the art technology including next generation sequencing. To accelerate growth and fulfill the development pipeline, the dedicated Test Design and Development Team (TdT) will consist of scientists, variant annotators and genetic professionals. Each TdT member will contribute his/her expertise in defining the molecular diagnostic test, both new and life cycle management tests, including its content, performance characteristics and requirements for test launch. Relevant scientific and clinical literature and variant databases will be investigated, supporting documents and launch materials will be developed, and reporting templates will be prepared by the TdT. The TdT will also help facilitate test structure build, eDBR process, user acceptance testing, and enhanced reporting.
