Working as a key member within the in vivo pharmacology team, perform a range of in vivo studies that generate critical project data for project teams. The non-PhD level In Vivo Scientist is a technical and scientific specialist in the conduct of oncology in vivo studies and will be responsible for study planning, scheduling and execution including: sample preparation and collection, appropriate documentation and accurate exporting, formatting and presenting data for multidisciplinary project teams. The In Vivo Scientist will work collaboratively with all in vivo team members and project teams to understand their needs, obtain the necessary approvals, and deliver in a timely and efficient manner.


  • Plan, execute and analyze in vivo pharmacology studies
  • Conduct in vivo and ex vivo studies to evaluate and establish tumor models, therapeutic efficacy, PK/PD relationship, combination strategy, biomarker evaluation
  • Characterize cancer models and understand the biological insights to best support project strategies
  • Interpretation, presentation and documentation of experiments; Presentation of results within a multidisciplinary team environment
  • Ensure appropriate use of animals in compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal standards


  • Bachelor or master's degree with 6+ years' relevant experience or equivalent
  • Experience with animal models of human cancers. Hands-on in vivo skills (IV, PO dosing), blood/tissue collection.
  • Ex vivo skills are strongly desired, including FACS, Western blot, or other assays
  • Ability to follow novel scientific or technological developments, and to implement them in the laboratory. Current knowledge of oncology research, drug discovery, and development.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills in English. Strong ability to multi-task and work productively in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, and diverse team environment. Capability to contribute to a vivid and challenging intellectual environment.


  • Work experience in an industry setting highly desired.
