? The position will be involved in multiple projects.
? The initial projects are to validate (IQ, OQ, and PQ) analytical HPLC and preparative HPLC for small organic compounds and peptides.
? These projects require that the candidate perform experiments to characterize and validate new HPLC instruments, and generate characterization and qualificationreports.
? The subsequent projects are to improve existing manufacturing processes.
? The candidate will design new synthetic routes and purification schemes, conduct multiple steps of synthesis, purify and characterize the products.
? The candidate will verify and validate the new processes for the implementation in production.
Daily activities include synthesis and purification of organic compounds; performing material purity analysis using HPLC, Maldi-Tof mass spectroscopy, LC/MS, NMR, luminometer, UV-visible spectrophotometry and other analytical methods; filling experiment batch records; writing technical reports; collaborating withother chemists in the group; and interacting with quality assurance and validation personnel.
