WSP is currently seeking a Scheduler to join our Rail & Transit team located at our project office in Toronto. Reporting to the Manager, this position is responsible for supporting the Senior Scheduler and assisting with the preparation, updating, monitoring and general integrity of the master project schedule and task/contract specific schedules. l


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide project management support by establishing, monitoring and updating multiple project schedules, including master project schedules, through the project life cycle, using standard scheduling techniques in accordance with established procedures;
  • Sequencing work activities and developing network models, preparing logic diagrams, estimating activity duration and establishing critical path and project duration;
  • Performing schedule control functions by analyzing schedule variance, earned value techniques, and recommending corrective action when required;
  • Other duties as assigned/required.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Completion of a post-secondary education in a relevant discipline, such as business administration, project management, scheduling, or an engineering or construction related discipline;
  • Formal project management training/certification (PMP) is a definite asset;
  • Expert knowledge of Primavera P6 and hands-on transit engineering and construction experience required, with at least 7 years' experience in a project controls role;
  • Strong organizational, administration and analytical skills; well-developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.# years of experience;
