Responsibilities

• Create packages for Windows 10 and Server 2012/2016
• Execute daily tasks: Add, Delete, Modify and Move Active Directory
• Document the steps and procedures for all the applications according to company standards
• Interact with the user to gather functional requirements
• Manage and use the script installer for deploying the VB scripts
• Ensure application compatibility against core images for the Windows environment
• Work with Properties to customize MSI installs for different situations
• Create PowerShell automation scripts
• Solve post installation configuration issues
• Coordinate the packaging and deployment of applications to the systems and desktop environment• Work with Server admins and Workstation admins to modify the OSD task sequence(s) to include new packages and scripts
• Understand SCCM Logs and how to find errors within

 

 

Additionally be able to assist, manage and execute:
• Migrate environments from 2008 to 2012 to 2016
• Publishing and Managing of Application packages
• Administration of user accounts and managing their permissions, hands on experience on troubleshooting the connection issues of users with TFS
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues encountered while importing application packages
• Provide 3rd level infrastructure support
• Assist in the maintenance and troubleshooting of SCCM
• Possess good understanding of the SCCM infrastructure including boundaries, site server roles, and parent/child relationships
• Troubleshoot application capture issues during sequencing and while streaming to the clients
• Automate the applications for software distribution
• Repackaging foreign software installations
• Experience on MSI, MST (Transforms), MSM (Merge Modules), MSP (Patches)
• Experience in using tools to validate the MSI

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (BS preferred) or equivalent experience
• 1 year experience with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM/ConfigMan) or Microsoft Systems Management Server (SMS)
• Microsoft Certified System Engineer preferred;
• Microsoft Systems Center Orchestrator (SCORCH) experience preferred;
• Advanced level administrator skills for Windows Desktop OS;
• Intermediate level administrator skills for Windows Server OS;
• Advanced understanding of software distribution and patch management concepts;
• Experience creating and deploying Windows Operating System images;
• Experience building unattended installation packages for client applications;
• Experience deploying software updates and managing client health;
• Proficient in Microsoft tools and infrastructure including Active Directory, Group Policy Objects, Powershell, Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT), Microsoft Desktop Optimization Pack (MDOP), and Microsoft Office;
• Excellent troubleshooting skills; Excellent written and verbal communication skills
