•             Investigate user problems and needs, identify their source, and determine possible solutions.

•             Troubleshoot and resolve production problems in SAP SD module.  Own resolution of problems pertaining to SD configuration.  Document system problems and resolutions for future reference.

•             Work with the Service Desk group to continuously reduce the number of support issues and improve internal customer satisfaction. 

•             Conduct configuration changes to accommodate change requests and prototype activities.  Maintain configuration documentation.

•             Offer improvement suggestions for increased efficiency through SAP configuration knowledge.  Introduce new solutions to improve productivity of internal customers.  Recommend options to the business in consideration of existing needs and constraints along with future requirements and goals.

•             Research, analyze and evaluate present or proposed business procedures or problems to define the best SAP system solutions and map them to SAP functionality.

•             Analyze project proposals to identify potential problem areas and recommend optimum approaches for project path.

•             Prepare functional design specifications for enhancement projects and change requests.

•             Deliver and meet deadlines for the assigned projects and tasks.

•             Follow IT Help Desk process, Change Management Policy and Procedure, and SAP application procedures.

•             Create and update test cases, conduct testing and assist user with testing scenarios.

•             Assist users with updating blueprint documentation as necessary.

•             Work as a team member with otherSAP analysts and consultants in an integrated system environment.

•             Participate in the development of training materials and assist in conducting training and workshops.

•             Other duties as assigned.

•             Responsibilities may require occasional travel and occasional evening and weekend work in response to needs of the systems being supported.



•             Bachelors Degree 

•             MINIMUM of 3-5 years SAP R/3 experience and at least one implementation cycle in SAP SD-AFS

•             Strong knowledge of AFS specific topics like allocation, value added services, seasonality, prepacks, and process handling on dimension size level

•             Experience with SAP ECC 5.0 and SAP SD-AFS 5.0 or 6.0 required

•             Must be able to understand and translate business processes into effective SAP SD software configuration

•             Extensive SAP implementation experience is essential

•             SAP SD Integration experience with Material Management (MM) and Financial Accounting and Controlling (FI/CO) modules

•             Familiarity with Solution Manager (or ASAP methodology), MS Project

•             Experience in ABAP a plus

•             Experience with Data Conversion/Migration a plus 

•             Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

•             Experience building and delivering presentations

•             Broad business knowledge and experience related to order management and logistics desirable

•             Knowledge of apparel and footwear industry preferable

•             Strong attention to detail and quality skills

•             Being able to execute assigned tasks with a high degree of independence, self-organization and goal orientation

•             Ability to write and maintain system documentation and user instructions

•             Strong problem solving, cross functional analysis and forward thinking abilities

•             Being able to think in an analytical and structured way

•             Ability to co-ordinate multiple tasks while providing status to management and working with team members

•             Provide input leveraging experience from otherSAP projects

•             Fluent in English and legally authorized for work in the US
