The IT Integration Specialist must have demonstrated ability using several unique IT skills as well as excellent oral and written communication. This position requires working knowledge of the following IT skills: SAP NetWeaver Process Integration (SAP PI) SAP ERP as it relates to interface configuration/connectivity Integration techniques (i.e., IDOC, file (xml or proprietary format), web services Transport methods (i.e., FTP, SFTP, HTTP, HTTPS, etc.) ABAP and JAVA programming languages Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) practices SAP Solution Manager used for change management Databasearchitecture and SQL programming language General understanding of computer hardware and networking components General understanding of computer and networksecurity Ability to understand and document complex systems and workflows Ability to design and document complex solutions that provide integration between unrelated systems Strong attention to detail and an ability to multitask and manage concurrent assignments Microsoft Office especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio Experience in an agile DevOps environment and with cloud-based systems is a plus These are the specific areas of accountability requiring decisions or delivery of results. Perform analysis of endpoint systems to determine most effective interface strategy. Systems include internal, cloud-based, external services and mobile devices; various operating systems and databases; SAP and non-SAP applications including legacy architectures; multiple global locations. Design highly reliable interfaces that include appropriate logging with self-healing features, as practical Monitor performance of all deployed interfaces that are supported by consultants Troubleshoot interface failures and design remediation procedures including the provision of Levels 3 and 4supportWork closely with IT and business members to ensure appropriate integration activities are defined for new solutions to meet all business requirements Work closely with third party partners to develop efficient and reliable integration designs Manage development and coordinate implementation of interfaces Define and execute integration test plans that lead to business acceptance
