This position will perform accurate analysis and effective diagnosis of client issues and manages day-to-day client relationships at peer client levels andwill communicate status, issues, and impacts to both the team leader and the user community.

  • Within SAP FI/CO/PC work with the Application Architects and the business to successfully perform gap analysis for medium to complex projects and to translate the business requirements and business processes into functional design specifications for SAP configuration and custom SAP development work.

  • Execute SAP FI/CO/PC configuration against the Mohawk SAP global solution template in line with functional design and perform unit testing of the configured solution.

  • Drive and assist with the integration testing across SAP modules and non-SAP systems. Build knowledge of the Enterprise Application Interface to efficiently troubleshoot interface issues.

  • Partner with the user community to ensure successful and timely User Acceptance Testing.

  • Actively drive issue resolution and closely monitor its progress.

  • Provide SAP (FI/CO/PC) knowledge and advice to the Master Data Consultants and Change Management Experts when appropriate.

  • Document all implemented solutions and train the SAP Support Specialists to ensure successful end user support.

  • Develop training material for the business key users & conduct key user training. Support the business key users in developing work instructions & conducting end user training.

  • Own complete module solutions end-to-end; prototyping, blueprinting, design, build, test, documentation and post go-live support including interfaces & cross module integration.

  • Fully understand and master all the end-to-end, cross-functional and integrated business processes related to the respective SAP functional module, including integrations with extended business systems.

  • Proactively work with Project Managers and Vendor Project Teams to resolve technical issues and to champion closure on business & technical issues related to process, business rules and configuration to achieve the ultimate business goals.

  • Actively engage all the different functional teams to improve the suggested solutions and increase the business satisfaction (VOC); effectively communicate needs across projects.

  • Ensure quality and best practices in each SAP functional domain by driving and adhering to the Mohawk SAP global solution template, SAP standards, knowledge base & best practices.

  • Proactively seeks ways to apply technology to business processes, researching and providing information on technical trends and competitors’ practices relevant to the assigned client business; partners with customers to develop business case justification for applications projects; identifies customer business requirements for significant enhancements to existing systems and for new development projects; translate requirements into business rules and user interfaces; coordinate systems design efforts with end user interactions

  • Develop, documents and maintains best practices, project standards, procedures, application, quality objectives and “lessons learned”, including metrics for assessing progress; ensures that applications systems are developed in a way that complies with architectural standards and established methodologies and practices; develops and delivers training on and emphasizes the use of established project standards, methodology and quality objectives.

  • Work closely with support partners in the management and resolution of help desk.

  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline with an information technology focus.

  • Consultant roles in more than 4 projects (of which 3 full lifecycle projects). 6+ years SAP hands-on experience. Knowledge in various SAP modules, with a focus in FICO and PC related modules, and experience working on large-scale SAP projects. 8-10 years job specific work experience with demonstrated professional growth and achievement.

  • Knowledge of various middleware tools, with a focus on data integration between SAP and other systems (e.g. PI/PO, EDI, Biztalk,…).

  • Business Process re-engineering or process improvement experience with broad-based information systems. Experience utilizing tools and techniques to effect business change and develop efficient and effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems.

  • Project management experience that involves conceptualizing, organizing, planning, and executing large-scale, high dollar and high-risk projects from vision through implementation, with diverse stakeholders such as business unit/division, contractors, and vendors, etc.

  • Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to effectively exercise tact, discretion, judgment and diplomacy when interacting and/or negotiating with internal and external customers and senior management.

  • Highly motivated self-starter. Ability to act as an advisor on professional and technical issues with a view towards reaching decisions.

  • Ability to work effectively in a diverse work group and to achieve results through team efforts. Ability to perform in a high-pressure environment and/or crisis situation and contribute to decisions to resolve the problems, maintain safety and ensure adherence to Corporate Code of Conduct.

  • Consistently proven ability to contribute to project implementations and concept developments.
