PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT
This position supports all BASIS activities related to GROWMARK’s SAP environment including but not limited to: system change management, performance tuning, transport management, data archiving, system administration & monitoring, troubleshooting, and problem analysis.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Provide leadership to Enterprise Systems Support Administrators for the support of SAP infrastructure implemented for GROWMARK within the SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud (HEC) or other cloud environments.
Provide technical (hands on) support for SAP Applications and/or operational issues.
Manages and Monitors day-to-day incident and alert activity
Interacts with third-party service providers to address alerts and incidents in a timely manner in accordance with established Service Level Agreements
Perform configuration, analysis and troubleshooting of both ABAP and Java stacks. Coordinate the implementation of configuration changes with SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud Operations Staff.
Configure and manage all additional platform capabilities including job scheduling, output management, email, archiving, technical security, technical connectivity between software components, etc.
Coordinate SAP system upgrades and enhancement package installation with GROWMARK Enterprise management team, GROWMARK Basis team, and SAP HANA Enterprise Operation Staff
Maintains a working knowledge of all installed third party business systems utilized for GROWMARK’s SAP Implementation and be an active participant in the upgrade and maintenance of those systems.
Implements, recommends, and adheres to GROWMARK IT procedures.
Performance tuning methods for HANA and SAP.
Manage and support multiple landscapes.
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS
Prepares monthly status reports, weekly time reporting, project summaries, and technical recommendations.
Assists with preparation of annual overhead and capital budgets.
Stays informed of changing technologies and trends related to information technology.
Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Normally requires a college degree in information system, business, or the equivalent thereof, and 5 years or more of related work experience to demonstrate the ability to provide technical leadership to the GROWMARK System.
Strong knowledge of SAP components and their interrelationships including NetWeaver systems, ERP Central Component (ECC), Business Intelligence, Enterprise Portal (EP), Process Orchestration (PO) and Solutions Manager
Proven leadership skills and the ability to achieve results through others.
Demonstrated planning, organization, analytical, diagnostic, problem-solving, and project management skills and the ability to read and interpret technical material.
Proven team building skills and the ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.
Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
Ability to carry a pager and/or cell phone and be available to receive after hours support calls, Individuals in this position should expect to be available 24/7.
Must have the ability to travel independently and overnight as necessary, and have the ability to possess a passport.
Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
