Salesforce Platform Architect at IDEXX in Cincinnati, OH

We are seeking a Technical Architect with in-depth knowledge of the Salesforce platform and its related technologies including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Pardot, Community Cloud, and Heroku. This includes an understanding of the integration of best practices, programming, architecture review boards, and performing code reviews.

What you can expect

• Salesforce platform subject matter expert (SME) for teams within the organization
• Lead technical design sessions, development, and the implementation of best practices
• Ensure alignment/consistency across all clouds and user groups as solutions are developed
• Determine and advocate for ideal ways to leverage the SFDC platforms such that a smooth customer experience is maintained, and all customer-related information is captured resulting in a true 360 view of customers
• Stay on top of new functionality being released across SFDC platforms
• Educate and drive our teams (IT and product) to be more innovative in leveraging new functionality being delivered 3 times/year by SFDC
• Build/maintain a technical SFDC roadmap that supports our business roadmaps as they evolve
• Drive down/manage technical debt - Manage technical debt items like SFDC Critical updates and Platform changes
• Perform and support the Proofs of Concept
• Ensuring security and performance of the platform – integration and code reviews and performance monitoring and notifications
• Translate requirements into well-architected solutions
• Drive practice thought leadership and strategic direction; Spot trends in Salesforce and evangelize and help build capabilities
• Act as a trusted advisor in deciding Salesforce roadmap and strategy
• Provide Salesforce platform expertise and architectural governance
• EAB representative
